I read Bobby’s Meeting Bloggers in Person post and I was much impressed. The net sure gave us power man. I mean the world could have missed Bobby’s richness of thought and imagery if the net had remained hidden in geek dreams. The web is one of our stellar achievements as a species yet the ants are a hundred times better than us. Actually google’s magnificent algorithms are based on the way ants perform their seemingly mundane tasks. So tech learns from nature and we in turn use the tech to forward our civilization thus using nature as a consequence. and yet we find it so damn hard to lift a finger to protect her.
Ended up watching Oprah today while waiting for my moms in the doctor place. Suffice to say twas a real good session. Her show was focused on blue zones of the world. Cool show man. First time I really checked out her show. I was impressed. Labels: ants, blue zone, oprah
