I guess I will see how the summer plays out. I do intend to put in work, do my time so to speak. A lot on my plate. Self motivation, constant prodding by my id. Ninja tech and madsane art swelling my mind. At least I know what I need to do to accomplish a semblance of proverbial success. I pretty much need to get mad good in designing database driven websites. CMS is the real thing. Whether joomla or asp.net. I learned a lot this semester especially in that asp.net class. Can't stop practicing though. Can't forget the little bugs that cramped my style in the end man. Suddenly my code was tripping and my project spat errors on the screen. It was well worth it though. We learn when we correct the errors. First diagnose, then troubleshoot and fix the offending bugger. Am a better tech ninja for that. Big thanks to Professor Raj and Naples man. Tech ninjas no doubt.
Time to compile that poetry book. The words are written. Time to scar another page. Bleed like life intended. Bleed for me immortal word for you outlast me.

The year is almost half way through. By now all promises have been scuttled. I reckon we keep new ones. Still waiting for my monies from my first life. Won't let that stagnate my new world. I feel fresher than September. A million ideas swirling in my head. Some closer to fruition than others. I stay sharp. I fight the darkness. God oils my lanterns. New York is a rebel life. Gave me back my confidence. It needs more tech though. The infrastructure is obsolete. Where is the ubiquitous WIFI? The always on net needs to be on in the streets and in the subway too, not just in our apartments. The blurring of virtual and real space won't happen unless the hardware matures enough to take advantage of the apps that are being coded to usher in the metaverse. I feel like America has fallen of the tech grid. Only a few are actually creating and inventing the new tech. Most of us are merely consumers. A select few hold the power. And you can't count out the venture capitalists. They hold the purse strings. Nevertheless it takes little money to code the next big idea. When it takes off the capitalists comes calling with wads of cash. Either way you can't lose if you squirrel away a portion of that loot with the hindsight that nothing lasts forever not even Google. I can't wait to see what comes next. Read about chrome using a much faster javascript engine. The article says that it will make the new web apps a lot more faster. Stallman hates it. Stallman is a purist. There gotta be compromise. I think firefox will have to step up though. Chrome is much faster than all the other browsers and it will get faster. Plus it is a lean machine. We are running it on windows 7 and it rocks. I am ravenously waiting for the Linux version. I know that I can port it to Ubuntu but this netbook atom architecture is another story. Who needs the agravation? I might as well just wait. Linux got cool browsers man like epiphany and galeon etc. When chrome is ready for us we will be ready. Still there are privacy issues. There always is.

Straight up open mic later today. our book is published. a student compilation of the best work from our publication writing club. feels good no doubt. i have five pieces in there including a flash fiction piece called spiritual burn. this is where i thrive. no matter what is bugging me as long as i get the words sutured into the canvas then am free. this is my world. a complicated persistence netherworld. would i change it? nay. keeps me alive. turbulence won't let me die. am constantly feeding on the stimuli that surrounds me. chi and karma bumping heads. yin and yang jostling for first position. does it matter what wins? i reckon something wins today, an idea takes second best. tomorrow who knows what jumps up out of the primeval stream? so this dominica guadeloupe hiphop dancehall mashup got me excited man. it sounds so fresh compared to the mainstream american hip hop. same with grime man. when i saw klickly vid on youtube i was like blown away man. them guys look rough and real. sans gimmicks man. it's how they live in Guadeloupe man. most of them go there illegally to hustle. imagine traveling on a boat so small that you can literally touch the water. they travel on these to get to the exciting life just next door. it's how it is man. why should the wealth belong to a privileged few? the hustle is real. their music is real. big up youtube. youtube opened it up for all the warriors. gives us a voice. some want to stop it. don't get it twisted. only foolish people think that they can stop the march of the new. the new is persistent. it feeds on a dire necessity to remain relevant and fresh. stay fresh or wither. i embrace the new and respect the past. no grudging. big up humanity. God gave us life not to stand and stare but to perform and love everything. dig everything. get the soul rush.

The toshiba power adapter is dead. My brother did a cool modification that let's me use the HP Mini adapter to power on the toshiba. It works although the battery hardly charges. So I charge the netbook and then plug in the toshiba. We need our tech all the time man. I am a plurker now. I dig the timeline. We are social beasts. Considering brightkite. Ravenous tech appetite. The poet hasn't disappeared though. I got five literary pieces in a school poetry compilation. Looking forward to that. Got an open mic coming up too. Burst on the mic. Sting the world with my poetic spit. I have started recording videos using the netbook cam. Good vibes man. You use what you have to get the art. Never a dull moment. Never back down. Adversity breeds creation.
